As one of the primary talent buyers for The Noise Academy, Akiko Moritake has contributed to much of The Noise Academy Presents live concerts at Aladdin Jr. II as well as the team’s first festival, Rude and Crude, featuring the best talent in the local rockabilly and ska scenes. Moritake’s professional booking experience dates back to her college days serving as the concerts co-chair for Cal Poly Pomona. It was here she discovered the art of talent buying and event management. Outside of her talent buying role, Moritake’s favorite work is in concert production. She has contributed to festivals such as Rock the Bells, Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival.
