DJ MBoogie from West Covina, Calif. was introduced to the art of DJ-ing by close friends at an early age. His motto, “We do it all for the love y’all,” is an appropriation from hip-hop group, A Tribe Called Quest. From rocking house parties to local bars and venues such as Cantina Lounge in Fullerton, MBoogie has been spinning all over Southern California wherever he can get his hands on the tables. He has also held residencies at Jimmy’s Lounge/Burgandy House in Los Angeles, Crazy Horse in West Covina, Luxy 101 in Rowland Heights, 72 North/Dullahans, and Maikobe in Pasadena. MBoogie’s known for mixing up old-school underground hip-hop, early 90′s, and that feel good music that gets you moving. | |
