Star Wars in Concert
ATTN fellow Star Wars nerds and film music freaks! John Williams and LucasFilm are doing a tour featuring a compilation of music from all 6 films and an original film montage to accompany the music. That’s enough to get me excited, but it looks like it’ll be a cool tour from a production standpoint too. The music will be performed by a symphony orchestra and a live choir and going on tour with the musicians is a LED screen specially built for this tour – which is supposed to be the largest screen to be ever taken on tour. The live narration will be done by Anthony Daniels (C-3PO).

Polyphonic – New Music Industry Venture

Boris launch at Meltdown
Here are some pictures from the Boris vinyl launch presented by U1 Toy Arts at Meltdown Comics. Boris was created by Nathan Hamill, sculpted by Dave Kawano and the exhibit featured the vinyl toy painted by different artists along with Boris block prints and graffiti.

As some of you might now, Staple Design produced a publication by the name of Reed Pages. The concept is great as it displays articles that matter most to Staple Design followers. The most interesting concept is that Jeff Staple has managed to make major companies comply with his advertising standards. In this case, just a logo and your choice of black or white. A GREAT CONCEPT! None of the flashy advertising! It adds so much to the essence of the publication as it shows off the visual beauty associated with the articles.
